Oscar Renken and Wendie Roelofs are the owners of Jan de Jong Movers. They started their business adventure at the beginning of 2012, and together they give direction to this company. Taking over the company was a conscious decision for both of them, which was in line with their careers.
Oscar Renken was already the operational manager of Jan de Jong Movers from 2005 onwards, and has always expressed his wish to one day continue the company by himself. For many clients, he is the face of Jan de Jong Movers.
Wendy Roelofs however, has gained a lot of experience in several profit and non-profit organisations in Groningen. All throughout her career she was involved in coaching and motivating her staff within the company guidelines. She now takes care of the day to day behind the scene operations of Jan de Jong Movers. Knowledge and experience have been brought together, anchoring continuity in this company.
Every day, four to five teams take care of all removals. Within these teams, there is a deliberate hierarchy. The team leader leads the movers, assistant movers, or student movers. The team leader is your main point of call on location. Working this way ensures for a clear and quiet removal for you as a client. Our close-knit teams enjoy their work immensely, which allows for a quick removal.
